I will be on Ernie Hancock's radio show, "Declare Your Independence with Ernest Hancock" this coming Friday, March 21, at 7 AM Arizona (and Colorado) time.

For those in the Phoenix area, the show is on KXAM, 1310 AM. Go to Ernie's website to learn how you can listen in via the Internet. He also lists call-in numbers.

Unfortunately, I missed hearing Clair Wolfe this morning. I'll be listening tomorrow (Tuesday). He'll have Boston T. Party on Wednesday and Vin Suprynowicz on Thursday. As Ernie says, I'm "batting cleanup" on Friday.

I Ernestly urge you to listen—and if you knew Ernie like I know Ernie ....

Project Ceres Announced! and updates regularly added.

I am extremely pleased to announce that I have just signed a contract with a daring new publisher, Big Head Press, to adapt my 1980 novel, The Probability Broach for a 180-page, full-color graphic novel. The contract calls for me to have finished the script before Christmas, 2002.

The artwork will be done with his usual extraordinary style and grace by my close friend and colleague Scott Bieser, whose work appears all over the Internet. You can see some excellent samples at

I'm presently having trouble communicating with many of the lists I've been on, so I'd appreciate your passing this on to them, and to anybody else who might be interested.

New Poll as of March 2, 1999

What Do You Think?

Whether you're "pro-life", "pro-choice", or something else altogether, would you accept a compromise -- which would leave abortion legal, but forbid even a penny of tax money to be spent on it -- if it would settle this issue for good and let us get on with taking our country back?
